Pippa is interested in all aspects of perinatal psychology from pre-conception through the postnatal period. She can offer assistance with a wide range of difficulties that can impact adjustment to parenting, such as anxiety or depression, loss or trauma. She can provide Non-Directive Pregnancy Support Counselling as well as Clinical Psychology Services under Medicare.
Pippa has extensive experience supporting university students through emotional and academic difficulties, as well as supervising postgraduate clinical psychology students. She has previously worked closely with the University of Sydney in a supervisory and consultancy capacity.
Pippa has a strong background working with individuals affected by childhood trauma. She has worked in tertiary services targeting child and adolescent mental health, childhood sexual assault, and chronic illness, both here and overseas. She has extensive experience as a social worker in the fields of child protection, youth justice, and adoption.
Pippa uses several approaches including Compassion Focussed Therapy, Schema Focussed Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, and mindfulness (see Approaches page).

Pippa enjoys the process of facilitating and supervising groups. She has co-facilitated treatment groups for children and parents, adolescents, and adults. These include educational groups (DBT skills groups), as well as facilitating support groups (trauma survivors, parents of child survivors).
Pippa is a registered supervisor with AHPRA and enjoys the process of reflective supervision and continuing education. She has worked as a Clinical Supervisor on the University of Sydney Master of Clinical Psychology program and has provided consultation and group supervision to other university departments.
Pippa has also presented to various hospitals and medical providers in Australia and overseas on topics including Psychosocial Support in Infertility, Trauma and Reproductive Health, Parenting, Family Therapy, and Psychosocial Support in HIV and Infectious Diseases.
