Pippa offers psychological therapy and counselling to help you navigate psychosocial difficulties, stressful periods, and life transitions.
Pippa aims to provide a safe therapeutic space that allows you to feel supported and connected in working towards change. She endeavours to always work in a compassionate and collaborative way to help improve your quality of life.
Dr Pippa Mitchell is a fully registered Clinical Psychologist who has owned and operated a private clinical psychology practice since 2010. She offers face-to-face and online sessions via Telehealth.
Pippa has a broad range of experience as a Clinical Psychologist and Social Worker in both public and private settings, spanning 20 years. She has worked primarily with individuals and families around relationships, adjustment and life transitions, as well as more specific mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety and stress. She also has experience working with individuals and families impacted by trauma, attachment issues, and chronic illness.
Pippa has a special interest in supporting individuals and families through pre-conception, fertility difficulties, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, and perinatal mental health concerns. Pippa can provide Pregnancy Support Counselling under Medicare as well as Clinical Psychology Services. She is also a registered ANZICA infertility counsellor.
Pippa also has an interest in supporting other allied health professionals as they support their own families and patients. She has worked as a Clinical Supervisor in the University of Sydney Master of Clinical Psychology Program and enjoys offering supervision and therapy to early career psychologists and other health professionals.
